Yanylex has been part of the Olde Naples Animal Wellness Center team since 2025. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Animal Sciences and is a Certified Veterinary Assistant, bringing both knowledge and enthusiasm to every patient she cares for.
Her passion for animals started when she was just six years old. Caring for her own pets and seeing animals in need during visits to Mexico inspired her lifelong goal of helping and rescuing animals whenever she could. At home, Yanylex shares her life with Rafael, her six-year-old Yellow-Bellied Slider turtle. When she’s away from the hospital, she enjoys fishing, bike riding, hiking and nature walks, relaxing at the beach, spending time with friends and family, and providing pet care services in her community.
