Mia is one of our technicians! She is a junior at FGCU with a biology major and an organismal and ecological concentration. She has been working in the veterinary field for a year now, and can’t get enough of it. Her love for animals grew at a young age, being an only child she was drawn to animals for their companionship, then started doing competitive horseback riding as a sport.
She knew from a young age that she needed to pursue a career taking care of these amazing creatures, and the first time she watched a surgery be performed sealed the deal. She also spends her free time volunteering at the Conservancy Von Arx Wildlife Hospital and at Domestic Animal Services. We applaud her dedication!
She’s the mom to a golden retriever named Faith and two cats, Leo and Luna. Her favorite color is purple!
